Wellman for an active lifestyle | Vitabiotics + Cuts for Him

First of all, let me apologise for going awal on you guys. It has been nonstop on my side hence the little break in regular articles. I mean where do I start. From running from one fashion show to another to putting together my yearly Fashion Industry Insider’s event. But I count it all as blessings as the past couple of months have been productive.

The month of June was easily my busiest month of the year so far with back to back shoots, back to back fashion shows from London Fashion Week to Milan Fashion week via Florence (Pitti). I came back to London to a very hectic schedule which has no signs of slowing down. I mean how did I do it you may ask. At some point, I thought had the strength of Superman. Only if that were true eh.

One thing I know for sure is that I have had a lot of help from my Vitabiotics Wellman range

Black tie guide: the perfect look for prom night | M&S + Cuts for Him

I cannot believe we are approaching the half way mark for 2018. I mean it feels like only a few weeks ago when everyone was talking about New Year’s Resolutions and how they were going to hit all their targets. I for one created very ambitious targets and things I want to achieve by the end of 2018. I have to say I am not doing so bad in some areas whilst other areas leave a lot to be desired.

Anyway, on the plus side, we have entered the season of celebrations, events, and occasions. Warmer weather temperatures are usually a good indication that events and occasions such as weddings, horse racing, and proms are about to kick off. Whatever the occasion, it is important to get the outfit right. The last thing you want to do is show up at a pool party in a Tuxedo, or show up at a black-tie event wearing a very colourful suit. Sometimes the name of the event gives a clue as to how to dress. However, the challenge of how to put the look together still remain. You honestly do not want to stick out for the wrong reasons at an event but rather, turn heads.

The look and style I will be focusing on today is the black tie or formal look. I have partnered with Marks and Spencer’s tailoring to show you how to put together a Prom worthy attire for men, using a tuxedo.

For one reason or another, a lot of people I have spoken to shy away from formal wear such as tuxedos. One of the Continue reading Black tie guide: the perfect look for prom night | M&S + Cuts for Him

Fashion for the weekend | Cuts for Him + Ted Baker

There are many reasons to look forward to the weekend. In most cases, people just want to rest after the working week. It sometimes feels like we are stuck in a perpetual cycle were we become ecstatic on a Friday and then somehow get into a downward spiral of emotions the minute its Sunday evening. For your regular nine-to-fivers, the weekend is the best thing that was ever invented. As a full-time content creator and blogger, there is really no true concept of a weekend. I tend to work throughout the 7 day week with no distinction between days. However, I still get excited about the weekend. In my case, it’s most likely a physiological thing. Except I am going away, the weekend does not really have an impact on me.

That brings me to the purpose of this article, weekend getaways and dressing up for the weekend. As someone who wears a lot of formal or should I say smart attires, it is always a good thing to take things down a notch without compromising on my style. Ted Baker has always been one of my favorite brands when it comes prints, fabric type and their use of colour. As someone who Continue reading Fashion for the weekend | Cuts for Him + Ted Baker

I stand with Cape Town – Push back Day Zero | Cuts for Him

I was disheartened when I first learned about the water shortage in Cape Town. The city is on the brink of a drought known as the worst in its history. The situation is so acute that authorities have put a date when taps will all but run dry and it is locally known as “Day Zero”. Whilst in Cape Town, Day Zero was expected in the second week of July which is a stark reminder for a visitor like myself never to take such a precious resource for granted.

To help push back day zero, local authorities have encouraged citizens to use no more than 50 liters a day per person. To think that one of my favorite cities in the world will go without water come Day Zero was enough reason to inspire this shoot.

I stand in solidarity with the people of Cape Town during this difficult period.
